Australian company iintegrate Systems Pty Ltd has opened a USA office with several lead sales, and more trials for customers underway.
The company is commercialising Indji WatchTM, a web-based emergency management system for integrating tactical emergency management activities through a single web portal.
Significant sales into the large energy utility and mining markets have been made. IndjiWatch now monitors all high voltage transmission assets across the interconnected power grid of the Australian eastern seaboard, providing real-time knowledge on the status of these assets. Its first North American client was California ISO which services 30 million customers.
Indji Watch online service currently watches hundreds of thousands of miles of electrical network in Australia, the USA and Canada. Indji Watch assesses the impact of over twenty million natural phenomenon events per month on this network.
IndjiWatch is based on “HazWatch” which was an outcome of one of the very first CRCSI projects. The Project Leader was from the end-user organisation Landgate, and subsequently moved on into the start-up company.Indji WatchTM is a web-based emergency management system for integrating tactical emergency management activities through one web portal.

IndjiWatchTM received an ‘online’ category award in the 2007 Western Australian Information Technology and Telecommunications Awards, and the 2008 Asia Pacific Spatial Excellence Award for Innovation and Commercialisation.
IndjiWatchTM is now offered from a USA office, and California ISO, which manages the majority of California’s wholesale power grid and helps ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity to 30 million Californians, implemented the product in 2009-10.
CRCSI Role
The Hazwatch system was developed by a CRCSI-funded project led by Landgate. 43pl company NGIS Pty Ltd was involved in the project which used the network of CRCSI agencies to demonstrate and nurture the technology.
iintegrate Systems Pty Ltd was set up to commercialise the project outcomes which has been further developed and branded as IndjiWatchTM.
