Research Programmer / Software Engineer Vacancy

This position with the Victorian River Feature Extraction Project involves working within a small team in a research and development environment. The main duties involve the development, testing and delivery of software tools which will run on very large volumes of vector and raster spatial data, utilising new and existing techniques and software. The project also involves collaboration with the Victorian Government.

The programmer will have an industry background in computer science and software engineering, including knowledge of spatial data and issues relating to the processing of very large volumes of data.
