There are many spatial infrastructure and data supply initiatives currently underway in Australia and New Zealand.
But there is little coordination or understanding of what has been built in the various jurisdictions and sectors.
The Spatial Infrastructures Alignment Study addressed this gap in understanding through a review of 34 Spatial Data Infrastructure initiatives in Australia and New Zealand.
One of the key technology enablers for such a initiatives is the capability to maintain automated, flexible, and distributed end-to-end spatial data supply chain management.
This allows providers to publish and market a wide range of data products, enabling “frictionless” user-access.
