Work has started on a new module of HealthTracks that presents spatial data on environmental hazards.

Data on air quality, food safety and water monitoring will be made available via HealthTracks for all users to include in their decision making. This new module will encourage Local Governments with Public Health Units to exchange information and assist with planning where valuable local government resources are spent, particularly in rural and remote areas.

And Andrew Jardine has joined the research team in Perth. He is reviewing the impact spatial information has on the methodology of decision making in the Health Sector.
