Welcome to Project 1.01 blog. The full title of the project is "New carrier phase processing strategies for achieving precise and reliable multi-satellite, multi-frequency GNSS/RNSS positioning in Australia"

The key research questions to be tackled are below. If you want to follow progress we will be posting highlights and developments in this blog. You can subscribe by RSS or email below.

  1. How to gain the necessary computational ambiguity resolution control over the dimensional increase caused when integrating multiple GNSS and /or processing larger networks?
  2. How to develop an optimal partial ambiguity resolution method to ensure continuation of positioning or navigation in the case that the carrier phase model lacks sufficient strength and full ambiguity resolution fails?
  3. How to develop a rigorous ambiguity validation test procedure and how to describe the validation test dependent position and navigation quality?
  4. How to test the mixed-integer GNSS model for modelling errors and what is the position reliability of these tests?
  5. How can we improve the strength of the network model so as to enable fast network ambiguity resolution and fast generation of ambiguity resolved network outputs?
  6. How can we improve network and user-platform modelling so as to make fast and successful, precise point positioning ambiguity resolution possible?
