Structure
CRCSI is an unincorporated joint venture of over 110 partners that operates through its wholly-owned entity Spatial Information Systems Research Ltd.
College structure, organisation chart and research management process are below.

Colleges
A college system facilitates communication, accountability and decision-making across all the partners. These colleges comprise the
- Research and Education College
- Government College - led by ANZLIC – the Spatial Council
- SME College through 43pl
Other colleges may be formed in due course.

Organisation
Activities are conducted in geographic nodes at our partner institutions across Australia and New Zealand
Melbourne is the corporate base for the CRCSI with management offices in Perth, Wellington and Brisbane to provide local presence and coordination of the nodes of activity.

Research management
The research programs are led by researchers with established international reputations, who are already involved with international scientists in collaborative projects. The scientists have impressive records of research performance and demonstrated capability to collaborate, cooperate and manage complex industry-focused research projects. Researchers from Australia's leading centres of academic excellence in spatial information bring a range of multi-disciplinary skills to the CRCSI. Program Boards chaired by end-users provide strategic direction and review within each program's activities.
